The title of Yutaka's next drama is "Psycho doctor" which will be shown on Nippon TV starting from 9 Oct. The theme song will be sung by Hirai Ken.

The radio drama "Paris no koibito" will be broadcast from 19-23 Aug
(12:00am to 12:55am) on Tokyo FM. This is the first time Yutaka
participate in radio drama with Esumi Makiko. But it's quite unlucky that
we can't hear it outside Japan... : (

it from web.

Nearly a month since the last update. Time slips away so quick! Wondering
what Yutaka is doing now and what he did in the past few months? Few days
a ago, there is a piece of news about Yutaka. Famous actor Jackie Chan has
invited Yutaka to work in his new movie project "Titanium Rain". If Yutaka
accept the offer, he will play the role as a Japanese knight (oh.. could
it be something similar to his role in Taiga drama?). That sounds quite
new and challenging. However, as usual, nothing is confirmed yet. Let's
wait and see what will happen.

Just watched the new version of Yutaka's new CM "Chaho". It's quite funny!
Also, Yutaka has a new version of Asahi Insurance CM. This time he has a
partner! She is Miho Kanno who I think is a quite talent actress. You can
go to Asahi Insurance's homepage to watch the CM. Some updates on CM page
too, please also have a look.
Due to limited server space, some of the sections are now offline. It's
quite troublesome to move pages from one place to another and amend the
links. (sob sob sob... ) I am now finding other place to put up the files

Just watched a video clip from Excite on the preview of Yutaka's new CM "Chaho".
In the CM, he act as a private tutor, having short hairs (like the one in
Risou no Kekkon) and wearing a pair of glasses (like the style in "The
Last Song"). Look very cute and funny. If he is my private tutor, oh.. I
think I will faint before I learn anything from him. ^____^.

Just announced today that Yutaka as the campaign character of a Japanese
Tea "茶寶" (a product of Coca Cola). I never heard of this brand before so I
guess it's a new product. The TVCM will be on air on 20 March in Japan.
Hope we can see it soon. Actually I am very glad when I heard this news
because I wish Yutaka to have more CM jobs since the start of this year.
Now it comes true!! ^__^
Is there anyone got the magazine "Lifesize"? If not, doesn't matter. You

Happy Lunar New Year to everyone!
Wish you all have a good time! ^__^ If you come to my page everyday,
probably you've experienced the access problem lately. It's due to the
exceed of 'bandwidth' which tripod forced to shut down my page for a
period of 2 hours before you guys can access it again. It's quite a
headache to me. I am still thinking for a way to solve the problem.
Meanwhile, I just keep few section online and the rest will be offline
temporary until I have more time to re-organize everything. I'm sorry
about it but I don't have many choices. There is no free lunch, you can't
get a reliable website services unless you pay for it.

Happy New Year to everyone!
Wish you all have a good time! ^__^ The taiga tv drama will be shown next Sunday on NHK Channel. Heard that fans in Japan & Taiwan are able to see the CM of it. Oh... so envy! I hope I can watch it one day here.
Also, today is the 2nd 'birthday' of 'Pure Yutaka'. Time slips away so fast. I even don't notice it until I check the bottom of this page and find that it's created on 1st of 2000.
Tomorrow is Yutaka's 31th Birthday, "Happy Birthday to Yutaka" and all the best for him in this new year! Also hope that he will receive more good offers and produce even more good work for us. Heard that he is on vacation now but I think he will come back shortly.

Reisei to Jyonetsu no Aida is still showing in Japan & HK. I guess fans in this 2 places have watched it. Do you guys like this movie? Any comment on it? Please feel free to discuss it in my webforum.
I watched it twice last month. The first time I watched it was on 15 Nov and it's nearly full house. It's so happy to see a 'big Yutaka' on the screen! : ) My impression on it was OK. Yutaka's performance is good and his Italian speaking is very natural. About Kelly, well, I think she has tried her best to portray the role "Aoi". You can see her tried very best to speak in fluent Japanese, English and very few Italian. However, her facial expression is still not good enough.

More news on "Reisei to Jyonetsu no Aida" is updated. Please check from my movie page. I am manage to update few of the news article on Yutaka in "Tokyo International Film Festival". There are still some magazine articles in hand, I will try to upload them here when I have more time. Hopefully all can be done before 11 Nov.
Will Yutaka come over to HK and promote the movie with Kelly? Kelly has asked him to come but Yutaka's reply is still unknown. He is quite busy working in the Taiga drama and no one knows if he can come or not.
For fans in HK, have you go to Windsor House recently? I saw the poster of Yutaka's movie (the white one) and six small pictures of it. Also, there is a TV playing the trailer of various upcoming movies, one of them is .... Yutaka's movie!! Oh.. I'm faint to see it! I hope I remember to bring a camera and take a photo of them next time I walk around there.

2 more magazine articles have been updated. Please check it out under "Movie" section. I will try to find all those magazines that are listed on Yutaka's official page. Sometimes the news I that I received is not that reliable or the delivery of magazines to here is not on schedule. It's quite disappointed whenever I go out and unable to find any, just like yesterday. : (
Btw, the top page of Yutaka's official homepage has been renewed. I appreciate the effort of Ken-on staff that the new look is much better and cool than before. However, the frequency on the update is a little bit slow. Still have to rely on the news of Japan fans.

It's getting cooler and cooler and autumn is already here. This is my all time favorite season. : ) Around 3 weeks of time, Yutaka's first movie will be shown in Japan. Feeling a little bit excited as I really has high expectation on this movie. I still hope Yutaka can come to HK for promotion but nothing is confirmed and even worse, someone said that Yutaka may have to stay in Japan to do a tour promotion. : (

After stop update on this page for 3 weeks, here bring you some news of Yutaka. The preview of "Reisei to Jyonetsu no Aida" (冷靜與熱情之間) was held in Japan on 4 Oct. Most of the main actors have attend it except Kelly Chen. You can go and watch a short movie clip of this event from Japan Yahoo. (under the entertainment news and select "藝能會見") Yutaka looks too handsome in it! I can't help to watch it over and over again. : )

Dear friends,
This page will not be updated as frequent as before due to the fact that Yutaka's drama Dekichatta Kekkon is just finished in Japan, not much news can be found now. Until I get any news about him, I will post it up here. Many of the Japan sites are either closed or taken out all those pictures of Yutaka because of the announcement on Yutaka's official HP (and because of copyright law in Japan). I'm not sure will Ken-on take any actions on webmasters of overseas fan sites. At the moment, I don't have any plan to delete Yutaka's pictures or anything. Let's wait and see.

The final chapter of "Dekichatta Kekkon" is going to show tonight in Fuji TV. Hoping that everyone who has watched this drama will enjoy the ending. For me & other overseas fans, let's hope we can watch it soon. = )

Dekichatta Kekkon will be finished next month and the promotion of Yutaka's first movie will be started soon after it. News saying the movie will be shown in HK on 15 Nov. I hope it's true and it'll be perfect if Yutaka can come. If I have any news, surely I will let you all know.

Not much news about Yutaka recently. According to a Taiwan newspapers, Yutaka is invited to work in a Taiwan movie which is based on the novel "魯賓遜飄流記" (Robinson Crusoi). I haven't read this novel so I have no idea which role they gonna invite Yutaka to portray. But it's always nice to know that Yutaka keep having invitation from movie directors.

Here is update on Dekichatta Kekkon. Please follow the link below to view it. There aren't many news on Yutaka since the start of this drama. When I read the newspapers everyday, only news on Ryoko Hirosue can be found and all of the news are bad news. I wonder if it would affect the TV rating of Dekichatta Kekkon? This drama looks quite interesting when you see those pictures from TV magazines. I wish I can watch it soon.

Btw, is there anyone knows when will the press conference of this drama hold in Japan? The one of Faye Wong's drama is a big one and attracts more than 300 reports over there. I hope Yutaka's one also a big one too.

News again! Yutaka will take part in the next NHK Taiga Drama which will start shooting in Aug. It's a big production of NHK Channel of year 2002. For more information, please refer to my news section.

News! According to various HK newspapers, the leading actress of Yutaka's first drama, "Calmness & Passion" is Kelly Chen (popular HK singer / actress).
It's great to hear this news. It's been quiet lately and not much news on Yutaka. Although I'm not Kelly's fans, still glad to see both in the movie. To be honest, I hope I can watch this movie in HK, and most important, I hope Yutaka will come to do the promotion if this drama really will show in here. ^___^

Happy New Year!
Wish everyone of you have a wonderful new year! Tomorrow is Yutaka's birthday, did anyone of you send him birthday cards/presents or birthday wishes? I have sent mine and hope he will receive it soon.
Time slips away so fast. This page has renamed to "Pure Yutaka" for a year. When I decided to change the name of it, I expect to spend more time to update this page, add more new content, so and so forth. However, due to heavy workload and some other personal reasons, it's getting hard to do the update more frequently. So in this new year, I will try to update it regularly (not frequently, as I don't want to promise more than I can do). Whenever there is news of Yutaka, will post it up as soon as I can, either in News section or my web forum (or you forget if there is a place called 'web forum' in this website). Your support to this site is my biggest motivation to continue my work. I hope to meet more Yutaka fans here!

Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas in Summer is finished. Although the TV rating of this drama is not that satisfactory, I think it is a good drama. I just watched half of it and will finish watching it soon. I really love to see Yutaka as Ryo, it's quite different from the roles he protrayed before.
Yutaka will start shooting of his first movie "Calmness and Passion" next March. I wish him all the best and hopefully it will bring him to another peak in his career. ^__^

It comes to the last month of the year and Christimas is coming near. Christmas is my favorite season. Though there is no snow falling here, there will be a 'man-made" snow fall starting from mid of December. For anyone who are also living in HK, you'll know what I mean.
There is no major update in the past 2 weeks, I'm sorry that I got sick that I have no energy to work on my page. Still badly ill now and I hope I can recover soon.

"Merry Christmas in Summer" has been shown for half of the story now. Time slips away so fast. I even don't have any chance to watch a single chapter of it. However, for those who are living in HK, you can listen to a radio program which talks about this drama every Sunday night. (around 8:40 - 9:00pm, in CR2). The program is 謝茜嘉年華. You can download and listen the last few chapters and learn some Japanese from this program.

It's sad to know the TV rating of "Merry Christmas in Summer" is not satisfactory. What's wrong with it? Is the timing really bad that seriously affect the number of audience? Anyway, no matter what, it won't affect our support to Yutaka, right?

Merry Christmas in Summer is showing chapter 3 this Friday. Sadly, so far I have no chance in watching any of the chapters. So envy of those who can watch and enjoy this good drama. Countdown to the start of Merry Christmas in Summer. Around 3 weeks left. Exciting! More and more news about this drama that keeping us busy in reading all. Since I am not good at writing and my Japanese is so broken that I may not write too much details on this new drama. If you want to read the details, please go to Takenouchi Yutaka no Sekai where Kimiko has made a very detail translation (in English) of the official HP of this drama. (Kimiko, you're great!) Less than a month for the new drama start, I'm sure you're eagerly waiting for it, right? Here you can watch the press conference (from Yutaka wonderland) and the PV of "Merry Christmas in Summer". Wow...Great to see the cover of Yutaka's 2001 calendar!
Very cool, isn't it? However, the release date of it now postpone to mid of October. So we can watch Yutaka's drama and get his calendar roughly at the same time. ^___^

Finally I bought a new scanner last weekend, so I can scan and update any news I have on this page. Hope you think the scanned pictures is clearer and better than before. Yutaka is preparing for his forthcoming drama and so I have to prepare myself (save more $$ for his magazines starting October and get this new scanner ready for heavy scanning jobs). Amendment on the schedule time of Yutaka's drama. According to the information from TBS, the new drama titled as "真夏之Merry Christmas" will be broadcast on Friday 10pm. It's a love story between Ryo (Yutaka) and Miki Nakatani. 18 Years ago, they lived and brought up in orphanage. Later they go separate way, Ryo go to Tokyo while Miki is still living in her hometown. Ryo originally is a boxer but later he work as a bodyguard. They meet each other after 18 years and the story starts.
Yutaka will cut his hair for this drama and we no longer see a long hair Yutaka. The producer is 植田博樹 and the director is 生野慈朗(he is the producer of Mega hit drama "Beautiful Life").
I expect there will be more information on this drama. Once I have the latest news, I will post up on my webforum. Please check it from time to time.

Come across some website and know that Yutaka's next drama is scheduled to broadcast on Sunday 9pm, on TBS channel in October. Wow...same time slot as "Beautiful Life". Hope that this drama will be as popular as BL. This time the leading actress is Miki Nakatani (中谷美紀). She is an actress and also a singer. She is the student of Hiroyuki Sanada in "Ring" & "Ring 2".

Not much update lately as there is not any news about Yutaka yet. Just upload the picture of JAL Card CM. You can see a larger version of the picture on the left here. From Ken-On's site, the 2001 calendar will be released in mid of Sept. Can't wait to see what how Yutaka looks like in it. If I have any news about it, I will share it here. : )

My friend Booska has translated a interview of Yutaka in "In Natural" and her translation is good. If you can read Chinese, it's worth to visit her site and read it. If you are a fans of "Koori no Sekai", I highly recommend you to go and discuss this drama with other "Koori no Sekai" lovers.

Euro 2000 is over and I am feeling a bit lost. Getting used to wake up at midnight to watch the games and now everything is back to normal.
I'm glad that some of you also like watching soccer games. ^__^ Very few friends of mine (I mean girls) like soccer and so I can only discuss it with my colleagues (all are guys, of course!)
Though I concentrate on watching soccer games, I won't forget to check for news of Yutaka (coz' he is my all time favourite). My scanner is broken down recently. >___< Though I want to scan some pictures and put them up here, I have to wait for a new one. This scanner has served me for more than 2 years and I think it's time for it to 'get retired'! Before I get a new scanner, I am sorry that I can't do much update on this page. Popular drama "Long Vacation" will start to firm part 2 next year? Seems it is another rumour only! Another local newspapers have checked the source of information and find out that it's from a HK magazine (not from Anan). So, every Yutaka fans, you don't need to get upset as Yutaka is still our one and only one Shinji. ^____^

Please go to news sections for further information of the above news. I am a bit disappointed that Yutaka won't work with Yamaguchi Tomoko again, I always think they are a very good combination as brother and sister. And, the role Shinji can't be replaced by anyone too.
I can't update this page so frequently this month as Euro 2000 is already started. I want to watch most of the matches and so...I need more rest. Update news section. I read a piece of news which is about Yutaka and a Chinese actress, Chao Wei work in a movie (or TV drama?). Sorry that I lost the news but there is only a few lines talking about it. To be honest, I don't think this news is reliable. From past experiences, there were so many 'rumours' saying Yutaka will participate in such and such movies. However, so far all are rumours. The most recent one is about Yutaka in a HK movie "古惑仔6" but I can tell you that the movie is shooting in Japan right now and Yutaka is not on the actor list.

The JAL Active Hokkaido 2000 campaign is started now. Any Yutaka fans will go to Hokkaido in this summer time? After watching the CM, I really want to go to Hokkaido. It seems it's a good place to relax and get close to the natural. However, it's all depending on time and money.
Not much update this time, add one piece of news which is about the sunglass Yutaka wore in Beachboys. Also add one new picture of Yutaka in JAL.

Good news! Yutaka is adopted by JAL to promote a campaign "JAL Active Hokkaido 2000". This campaign starting from June till September to promote the travel to Hokkaido in Summer. JAL will adopt The Brilliant Green's new song "Hello Another Way ~ Sorezorebasho" as the campaign song.

Yutaka and around 100 artists will participate in a "Charity Flea Market" (13 & 14 May 2000) which will be held outside Yoyogi Park area. Many artists will give out their things like clock/watches, T-Shirt, telecard, handbag and so forth in order to raise money for those natural disasters victims (both in Japan and overseas). I wonder what kind of things Yutaka will give out?? Anyone is "lucky" to get it??

Update on news section. If anyone of you who read the current issue of FRIDAY magazine, you will know that there is a guy "yutaka" who took some nude pictures and pretend like our beloved Yutaka. (actually I don't think he looks like Yutaka). It's so disguised that I hope no one will do any bad things on Yutaka again.

Yutaka's new version of Dydo Can Coffee CM is now on air in Japan. You can watch it online now. The CM is just like a short movie. You can watch both 15sec and 30sec version. Please go to Dydo's page and check it out.

Update on magazines. I just put the article about Yutaka in the current issue of GINZA. I am sorry that it's in Japanese only. However, it is still good to have a look on the pictures. They are all quite similar to those in photobook.
